The Herman B Wells Library: resources for everyone

More than two million visitors per year access our iconic Wells Library, making it one of the most heavily used academic spaces on campus. Its two limestone towers house millions of materials and much more, including:

  • Research assistance in the Learning Commons: one-on-one help at any stage of your research process whether that is developing your question, locating resources, or evaluating what you found, walk-up or by appointment. 
  • Study spaces for every preference or need: Find your perfect space, whether that is a small group enclosed room, a very quiet space with a window, or a computer with ambient “buzz” around you. 
  • Creator Commons: From sewing machines to 3D printers, this space has expertise and equipment to spark your creative spirit, model your next idea, or simply de-stress with friends.
